The species is infrequent but has been recorded from the lowland to 2110m.
Remark
Biology Thehost plants listed by Robinson et al. (2001) are unspecified Acanthaceae, Dyera (Apocynaceae), Alibizia, Paraserianthes (Leguminosae) and Camellia (Theaceae).
