(Smaller Moths of SE Asia p 125)
Glanycus ranges from China and India to Borneo. It consists of six species,
all with fenestrae on at least the hindwings and with bright orange/red
and brown/brack coloration. This coloration is in all probability aposematic
and the species are presumably distasteful to predators. |
