開張: 25mm前後. ♂の触角は繊毛状, 瘤状の結節は比較的小さい. ♂の前脚の毛束はあまり発達せず, 脛節の鞘状の突起は短い. 前翅の網目状の斑紋はハグルマアツバに似るが, その構成は異なり, 地色は濃黄色で, 後翅には網目紋様はない. 本種を模式種として属 Adrapsoides Matsumura, 1925が創設され, 従来はこの属のもとに扱われてきた. 本種の斑紋はきわめて特異であるがハグルマァッバと同様に生息環境への適応的な現象であり, 形態からは Zanclognatha と区別できず, Adrapsoidesは Zanclognatha の異名となる(syn.n.). |
