Geographical
Range

As subsp. naga, the Himalayan foothills of Pakistan, India, Nepal (Haruta, 1992) and China (Bell & Scott, 1937). Also Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand, northern Vietnam (Sa Pa), most of eastern and southern China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan (D'Abrera, 1986). A single migrant has been reported from the Russian Far East.

Biology 幼虫はサルナシ (マタタビ科), ヤブカラシ, ブドウ, ノブドウ (ブドウ科)につく.
Flying season 4-6月に山地に多い.
Remark

触角は次第に細まり, 先端は長く, ♂には短い繊毛がある. 前翅外縁は翅頂下でややへこむ. 前縁から出る黒帯はM1の基部からM2に沿って外方に向かい, 淡色の亜外縁線はRs付近からしだいに外縁に近づき後角の近くに達する.
